What differentiates Sumo Logic Cloud SIEM from other similar products?

Sumologic features an intuitive interface and strong features, especially the built-in automation - covering much of the SOAR features you would expect with an additional tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The custom parsing, log mapping and custom insights help to make this a good fit for detection engineering - it's intuitive and easy to configure and coupled with features like Field Extraction Rules (FER), you can really tailor it to your needs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it drags through irrelevant Signals into Insights, which confuses the alert and extends the MTTD metric.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a great tool - just consider your ingest requirements as the CSE part of Sumologic is based on GB ingested.

What differentiates Sumo Logic Cloud SIEM from other similar products?

Best difference I observed was that its log processing is quite good.it just simplifies the logs as help the user to do quick analysis which is very important factor for a SIEM tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I can say that Sumo Logic keeps on adding better options or features in its updates. Also its support team is quite good and really helpful and interactive with quick solutions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing major but for someone new to this will face few challenges at start as there are not much resource available over internet to understand its UI and process , except its own website but with time it will be easy to work on.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely as the features it provides is not something similar products offers.

What differentiates Sumo Logic Cloud SIEM from other similar products?

It assists us in monitoring for abnormalities in the logs that come in to determine whether or not we are tracking what we anticipate to see. SOAR technology provides our issue response and management teams with unparalleled visibility into the infrastructure. Sumo logic is assisting us with ingesting data from AWS, and their SIEM product is quite valuable in terms of security.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy how it's more than useful once you know how to set it up and obtain what you need. Sumo Logic's AWS APIs are excellent; these smooth connectors make it easy to import data into Sumo Logic. The finest thing we encountered was their customer service and readiness to assist us based on our requirements.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I'm not sure; I'll have to think about it; there appears to be some sort of technological setup. As PM, an engineer described how he put it up to me, and that was sufficient. The assistance is fantastic, and discussions with the R&D department are also highly beneficial. We are now waiting for a new edition of the brand.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is one of the best monitoring software, I can recommend you to give it a try and see if it suits your needs.
