What differentiates Azorus CRM Platform from other similar products?

The differentiator between Azorus and ANY other platform I've worked with is the customer service, account management, friendship from the Azorus team in Canada and most importantly in the UK (our direct Account Manager). Friendship is a strange term to use when talking about a supplier but it really is that. We can share, chat and ask about anything and we receive honest, transparent support and help at any time...within hours. To be able to jump on a call with a customer the same day is normal, and to get a 'fix' immediately isn't unusual. Oh and the platform is highly flexible to a point where almost ANYTHING is customisable!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The flexibility. I rarely have to say 'no' to clients. It's usually possible to achieve whatever they want..and sometimes by several different methods. With minimal knowledge of CSS we can make Forms, Events, Emails look and behave in unique and interesting ways to achieve whatever goals the client has in mind. Even without coding expertise, we have an Account Manager who loves a challenge and will find a way...quickly and with good humour. I describe Azorus as a washer-dryer. Everything in one package: Event Management, SMS, Email, Forms, Reports...no integrations or plug-ins to complicate life!

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is very little to dislike. If there is anything you find frustrating, i.e. a design choice, a small functionality blip...an email to the Account Manager can often see rapid 'fixes' or development tweaks within hours/days.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go in open-minded. Working with Azorus isn't like working with a 'normal' IT supplier. You will ENJOY it! Yes, it's not as intuitive as MailChimp, yes it might not have the most beautiful UX...but it's the most useable, flexible and robust CRM...AND it's HE specific so you have a wealth of experience and advice at your fingertips.

What differentiates Azorus CRM Platform from other similar products?

It is purpose built for Higher Education and is therefore more specialised and useful than more generic products like Salesforce.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is very intuitive and easy to use and navigate.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A small niggle concerning inability to outright delete fields if they appear in archived forms etc (archived material cannot be changed, and fields cannot be deleted if they are in use anywhere including in archived material). This is just reflective of the fact that our Azorus system has been in use for about ten years now and the way we organise information has changed over that time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is very easy to use without specialist knowledge and is strongly recommended for HE CRM purposes. A few years ago an idea was floated to switch our CRM and various other departments over to Microsoft Dynamics, but that project was ultimately abandoned when we had established that Dynamics did almost nothing better than Azorus and there were a lot of things that Dynamics either couldn't do at all or couldn't do as well compared to Azorus.

What differentiates Azorus CRM Platform from other similar products?

The support and transparency of the organisation. We have regular calls with our Azorus client manager, and we know he is always there to help us if we have any questions. He gets back to us as soon as he can, and genuinely makes using Azorus a fun experience with his support and tips. Azorus are also very open to feedback, they take suggestions on board and give you a realistic timeline for when they can be implemented. You feel like you are being listened to and valued as a customer who uses their product, which makes you want to use it even more.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect has been using the portals as a new and unique way to interact with potential students. We have been able to create portals for virtual events, permanent webpages, and hubs of information which is something we haven't been able to do before. The support from our account manager has meant we have been able to develop our coding knowledge and use CSS and HTML, so it has helped our team develop skills that we didn't previously have.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the data dashboards could be better, but I know that the developers are working on this and also that integration with things like PowerBi and Tableau are possible.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Have a chat with one of the client reps. Send them what you're looking for from a CRM and ask them if Azorus has these functions, and then go from there! They won't try and sell you a dream, it'll just be an honest chat about what you're looking for.
