What differentiates KnowledgeOwl from other similar products?

The biggest difference for me was how easy it was to learn how to input data and resource into Knowledge Owl and how intuitive the features are. I appreciate that it enabled me to have an API between my software and Knowledge Owl, something I am not sure would have been achievable with other providers such as WP Engine.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to categorise sections to mirror my software and restrict user permissions based on role.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is nothing I dislike but I would appreciate features or training that enable me to improve the layout, branding etc.. to make it less wordy and more interactive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Contact Veronica Calvage - nothing is too much trouble for her. She is really responsive and her customer focus is second to none. :-)

What differentiates KnowledgeOwl from other similar products?

‎KnowledgeOwl is a dedicated Knowledge Base platform. Its every feature is designed to make information discoverable and maintainable. I can manage public help centers and private wikis from a single login.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

‎Technically, the most elegant part of the system is KnowledgeOwl’s snippets. I update the information in one central place, and it instantly syncs across every article. It’s a write once, publish everywhere philosophy that prevents the problem in knowledge management, such as outdated information. Permissions are usually a headache, but KnowledgeOwl handles them with common sense. It allows me to manage public and private documentation from the same interface.

What do you dislike most about this product?

‎If I have to point out the most significant dislikes from a KnowledgeOwl, it centers on collaboration hurdles and gives a slightly dated technical feel.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

While you can code the entire UI, start with their built-in themes. Their out-of-the-box search is already better than most, so focus on content quality first.
