What differentiates OCI Goldengate from other similar products?

Replicates continuous transactions to another location without interrupting the system. It is not limited to oracle but works across different databases and cloud environments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to shift data during migration without taking applications down is a huge relief. The clear control over lag and throughput eliminates guesswork in tuning.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The cost and complexity might be prohibitive for smaller setups.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Eams requiring zero downtime migration and real time synchronization oci goldengate is a robust enterprise level solution.

no similar products available in market. great capabilities. ETL champion. you can extract data, transform as you like and load it to any database/environment. Create consistent live data streams from one data source to another, resolve conflicts and apply.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

multi-stage setups and administration. each and every stage of setup/staging can be customized and administrated easily.

What do you dislike most about this product?

OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) config costs more for monitoring and admin.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
