Okta has efficiently enabled us to train new IT staff within a very limited time period because the UI and workflows are so intuitive. Along with this, setting up new requests within Okta’s app network is noticeably fast and demands minimal configuration. The flexibility of Okta’s platform lets us scale up our company without having to rethink the architecture.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love how the manual workload for provisioning has been significantly minimized with the help of its lifecycle management automation feature. Along with this, a proper drop in helpdesk requests linked to forgotten passwords and account lockouts has been observed. Moreover, we can audit user behavior across different systems from a single source.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There isn't any worth mentioning bad aspect about Okta as it's doing great with all the required features already.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you work in a hybrid environment, its Universal Directory feature will help you manage identities across both on-premises and cloud systems efficiently. Plus, this will help you centralize access management so you don’t need to rely on local IT assistance.

With capabilities spanning single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and zero trust security. It assists in smooth and protected user experiences across cloud and on-premises environments. Such competences make it diverse.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Okta is a market-leading IAM platform. What I like about this tool is its lifecycle management, which reduces security risks and ensures timely access. Okta enables us to access all authorized applications with a single login, streamlining workflows and reducing password fatigue. Its adaptive MFA supports biometric, push notifications, and security keys. Such contextual access policies reduce risks. I also like the way it generates access reports and provides effective analysis. Moreover, its adaptive authentication is playing a significant role by balancing security more efficiently.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Though I like Okta for its robust identity, some aspects, such as Branding options for login and MFA, are somewhat limited without customer code or advanced configuration.

For those considering and currently using it, they should keep some points in mind. Take full advantage of its pre-built integrations to rapidly connect your apps. Use Okta’s analytics and reporting to track login success rates. I hope you will love its great functionalities.

Since I have been using Okta getting satisfying services and am happy to see the way it upgrades the quality of its features. Okta multi-factor authentication intelligently adapts to context, reducing risk without impacting our experiences. Its integration network (OIN) receives high praise for its thousands of prebuilt app connectors. The scalability and availability are key benefits, especially during remote work and large-scale rollouts. I like that it offers reliable user lifecycle management.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Though Okta’s MFA is strong but it lacks pre-configured templates for conditional access based on geography, device posture, or behavior, especially when we have less IT expertise. This lack affects the streamlining of our work.

Implement core features like SSO and MFA before expanding into more advanced modules like lifecycle management or customer identity. Utilize its pre-built connectors to reduce manual setup and ensure best practices.
